About

I know how overwhelming it can feel. That’s why I created Your ADHD Home - to give you the practical tools and shortcuts I wish I’d had sooner, so family life can feel calmer and more manageable.

My Story

Jenefer Livings, sitting by the sea

Hi, I’m Jenefer. 👋

In short, I started Your ADHD Home to give parents the help I wish I’d had years ago. Back then, I was trying to figure it all out on my own - reading, watching, learning - slowly piecing together what worked until I finally felt more confident and calm.

When I realised I needed to parent differently, to be the parent my child needed, I threw myself into learning. I devoured webinars, in-person talks, books, podcasts - you name it. Along the way, through my work, I also qualified as a Workplace Needs Assessor and completed a PG Cert in Neurodiversity.

Bit by bit, I made small changes at home. Gradually, things became calmer - but it was slow progress, and I often felt like I was reinventing the wheel. I didn’t need another talk on what ADHD is or how to get an EHCP - what I really needed were practical ideas I could try that very day. And, because I’m neurodivergent too, I needed strategies that would work for me as well as my child.

In my professional work, I was creating exactly that kind of support - practical, personalised recommendations for people in the workplace. That’s when it clicked: this is what I’d needed at home too. Someone to look at my family’s situation and say, “Try this.”

That’s why I created Your ADHD Home: so you don’t have to spend years figuring it all out alone. Here, you’ll find practical tips and tools that make family life calmer, easier, and more supportive for both you and your child.
